It says that there are four element e.g. water, earth, air and fire. It shows the world is divided into four countries and each country is specialist of using each element. Water, earth, air and fire; the four elements come subsequently and fire is the most vicious of them all. So eventually the fire country captures all other countries and bans other element bender, though some rebellion is going on there and there against them. Now here comes the Avatar. It says that Avatar is the balance between all the element bender. Avatar usually bends the entire element and incarnates in different countries and the latest Avatar incarnates in Air bending nomads. Then one day fire country invades air country and annihilates the whole country. Luckily the monks realized the occurrence earlier and send the Avatar else where. It was a necessary measure because the Avatar was only a boy then and he was not yet able to bend all elements (that's why this movie is called the last air bender. After sometimes the boy Avatar realized his responsibility and tries to master water bending. For this reason he goes in water bending rebellion region. Unfortunately the fire country realized this move earlier. So they invade the rebels. But the boy Avatar stood up show his power to the rogue fire fleet. By this action they retreat. The fire lord realized the importance of Avatar and tries to exterminate. So he sends his best resource. This movie ends here, but it is obvious that other two sequels is coming on the way. The story is a magnificent one for the action movie lovers; though I think the main idea is taken from some Japanese anime. The movie should be more interesting but lack of good direction prevents its interest. Sometimes the bending technic annoys the viewers. Some responsibility also goes to the script writer too, because it seems like some incidents are not related and comes from nowhere with no reason. Casting was not perfect too. In spite of a good story the movies is not a very enjoyable one for those reasons. But I am looking forward for the upcoming sequels and hoping a magnificent one.
